Meta users hold on tight; your feed could soon be flooded with AI-generated ads. The media giant has announced that entirely AI-generated ads will soon be rolled out across platforms, with a current deadline of 2026 targeted for the launch.

These ads will enable business users to simply provide a URL and let Meta’s AI tool do the rest, bringing to life a creative and campaign that, in theory, will connect the business with its target audience.

## The Rollout of AI Ads

The idea is that AI will create the image or video, and the complimenting text, to sit alongside a URL as part of a businesses online campaign.

While most businesses would likely argue that a level of human intervention will still be required to ensure that ads are factually correct and geared towards the right season / launch / audience type, this use of AI could make ad campaign design much quicker.
